ACT

ACT (American College Test) is a standardized test required for high school graduates to have access to colleges in the United States. The ACT exam is recognized by all universities in the U.S. It is used to assess the general preparation of candidates and therefore their eligibility to participate in higher education study programs.

Assesses the English language usage skills and rhetorical structures of the examinee.

Time Limit: 45 minutes

Mathematics

The questions relate to arithmetic, algebra, geometry and trigonometry problems.

Reading

Assess reading comprehension level of examinee.The structure of the ACT Reading section is very consistent. There will be four topic areas in the same order every time: Prose Fiction/Literary Narrative, Social Science, Humanities, and Natural Science

Time Limit: 35 minutes

Score: 1 to 36

writting

Science reasoning

Tests the examinee’s ability to understand data, synthesis of research and conflict resolution. There are seven passages on the science section. Each passage could contain graphs, charts, experiment summaries, or conflicting viewpoints from scientists.
